Accurate structural characterization of battery materials is crucial for new battery development and failure analysis. In lithium-based batteries, most components are highly reactive with air and water. To prevent structural changes and ensure precise analysis, these materials must be shielded from exposure to air and moisture

Our newly designed Air-Free Shuttle effectively protects lithium-based battery materials during sample transfer. Weighing less than 400g and measuring 50 mm x 100 mm x 40 mm, this compact device fits most SEM/FIB systems. It is user-friendly, maintenance-free, and cost-effective, requiring no modifications to existing SEM/FIB systems. Analytical functions such as EDX, EBSD, and FIB milling remain unaffected.
